Canberra Pictorial

Around 600 participants took part in the 2009 edition of Urban Polaris under a typical Canberra summer heat of 30 degrees. This is also the first time that a “Metro” version of the Polaris was being introduced to the Polaris. Metro is a shorter version of the Urban and had fewer/closer checkpoints than the full-on Urban Polaris. That said people should average more than 50km for the Metro, at least this is the kilometers that I have done on my bike carrying my 6kg of photograph gears.
