Canberra National taking on Manly Sea Eagles at the AIS Training Hall on Saturday. Three WNBL representatives in the match. Hannah Bowley from the Nationals, Sally Potocki and Erin Lorenzini from the Manly side. Very entertaining match with the WNBL duo from Manly side posted 36 points for the visitor. Hannah representing the Nationals topped scoring department for the home side with 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Potocki apparently has injury concerns in the third quarter and was off to the bench for a short while. Manly closed in the deficit to only four points in final quarter with just 60 seconds to go. The Nationals held on the lead and won the match 71-66.
First match to shoot with the Nikon D3 + 70-200mm. Turned out that the Canon combo I used to have could offer slight advantage in Image Quality; whilst the ISO ability in D3 wins off. All images where shoot at 1/250 @ F3.2 on ISO 320 to 400 strobed. Ambient condition at the court is 1/250 F2.8 ISO 6400. Another thing is, the Nikon combo doesn’t seem to offer as comfortable handle when shooting vertical on the 70-200.
